Just wanting to report very quickly that we had our meet up today and it was a smash success. Based on this experience I would say that YLF members are even more smart, stylish, funny, and kind in person than they are on the forum! It was such an honour and a pleasure to meet you all.

More soon, with bag and shoe pics, too!

I really had a blast. Thank you all to the Toronto/Ontario (and beyond) ladies for bringing your vivacious personalities to a fabulous meetup! I feel truly honored to have had a chance to meet you all in person.
I hope that someday I'll be able to head back to Toronto to see you all again, but in the meantime, let me know if you think you'll be able to make it Seattle-side (or even to Vancouver or Victoria) in the future!

The clothing worn included:

2 pairs of PPL jeans (not skinnies, not tucked into boots; no lemmings here)
1 pair of pinstriped trousers
6 dresses, none remotely the same as the others.
1 skirt

Ballet flats, low-heeled booties, and boots were the footwear of choice.

Many animal prints, some bird pins and earrings, and assorted colourful bags added spice to the ensembles.

I was so excited about the Toronto meet-up! I'm sure that you all had a wonderful time :). Wish that I could have been there.

No more letting the cat out of the bag please, ladies! Michelle is writing a post and Kari took photos. A blog post about your killer gathering will be posted asap. I can't wait to hear about the details!

Please let me know who does not want to have their identities revealed in the photos. For aesthetic reasons, we are no longer in the habit of blurring faces on blog posts, so if you'd prefer to hide your pretty faces, we shan't use those photos.

Sounds like great fun was had by the Canadian contingent of YLF (some of us)! I'm really looking forward to reading the blog post and seeing all the pics. Una, I didn't make it to the meet, (hubby had some health problems) but I can tell you that Canadian are a stealthy bunch and that's how it got planned without too much info leaking out to the American side... Well, that and PM's to Sveta...Handy feature that PM thing...LOL

Suz, I am impressed at your recall and inventory!

This isn't letting the cat out of the bag for Michelle's blog post, but I am sincerely enjoying my trip to Toronto. I've explored some fun parts of the city - downtown, St. Lawrence Market, Casa Loma - with Cecilia and her fabulous family, but my favorite thing has been finally meeting and getting to know SO many online friends in person. What a treat! It's a relatively short trip but gives me enough of a taste of Toronto that I know I want to come back to see more of the city and surrounding area, and especially to see my YLF friends again.

Thank you all for making my first trip out here so spectacular. I am truly honored to know so many fabulous, friendly, and beautiful women, and even more so to have a chance to meet so many of you face to face despite living on opposite coasts (more or less!)
