Topshop jeans & 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket

Largest size available in jeans. Much baggier on the model. Way to make me feel fat TopShop.
Jacket is size eight & can't really move arms well. It's a heavy twill denim like fabric. Should I stalk a 10?

I still think the jeans look great on you in the size you are wearing. The top, however, I'd look for in a size bigger. It doesn't look so small in the pictures, but I know how it feels to have a stiffer fabric not have enough give in the shoulders, so the comfort factor matters.

Topshop sizes are always small. you need to go one size larger than your regular.
Nice outfit, though.

I defer to other judgement on the jeans size, I'm not sure. Look for a slightly bigger jacket if you available, the cut and tailoring is interesting and the batik/dye pattern is great with your hair!

I like the jacket and the jeans. Go for the bigger jacket. Comfort is important and women's sizing is so all over the place! Last year, my boyfriend couldn't believe when I went shopping for shorts and tried on sizes 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12. A 4 fit, while an 8 of the same brand was too small. You never know and at this point I think women's sizing is so varied among brands (and within brands) you just need to find the one that fits and disregard the number.

Anna, I like the jeans. You are looking for a baggier version? Are these going to duplicate the ones you just got a Totokaelo? Super distressed. Patched. ?

I like the jacket, but think you are right to try the next size up. If you can't lift your arms up, you won't be happy with it. Your MMM leather jacket knows the truth of that.

ETA: That question mark up there is where I started to ask if they were a cheaper stand in for your others. I like them a lot, and that's a hard compliment to wrest from me because I am not a super distressed denim fan. So you know they look good!

OOoh! I LOVE the jacket for you. Love it. I hope you can get it in the bigger size.

I also really, really like the jeans. They look pretty darn good here, but if you want them looser, absolutely go for the bigger size.

How's the fabrication on those? I am never sure with Topshop.

Totally understand the sizing issue. Anyhow, yes I would like to see a baggier look for you. I tried these on for an everyday inexpensive pair:

I ended up with the distressed F21 BF jeans that the Alaskan blogger posted. I worry about the care and feeding of distressed items and whether they will fall apart. So I say yay to everyday pair and special pair.

My only concern with the jacket is that under the zipper it's trimmed in leather. It shows when unzipped. So the cleaning costs with be very high. And given the pink, it might show dirt earlier.

The jacket color and pattern are great, but I often don't like stiff fabrics even if sized up. You'd have to try and see. If it'd go with lots of things it might be worth it as a summery vibe. Or do you already know you prefer silky fabrics or supple leathers?
