I like all of them. I know, not very helpful, but you look so pretty in all of them. I guess if I had to pick one to return for you, it would be 5. It's nice, but looks a little big on you.

I like most of the tops with my favorites #1 and #10 and if you are wanting to return some I guess by least favorite would be 2 (maybe) and 5/6 is a little big. You really look good in sleeveless tops.

1 looks like it can be dressed up or down. The wide straps and the narrow v-neck are great for IT shoulders.

I really like the top in 6 tucked in and it looks very pretty with the a-line skirt. Both the wider straps of the halter neckline and the a-line shape of the skirt, balance IT shoulders IMO.

I will be on the lookout for 10 at my local TJ Maxx! The narrow v-neck, dolman sleeves and vertical design detail are all great for down playing IT shoulders.

Can you tell that I'm obsessed with minimizing my IT shoulders?! Hee-hee!

I luv outlet shopping! If you think you'll be making several purchases, it's a good idea to check online to see if your outlet has a free membership. Usually you will get a voucher for a free coupon book that has discounts at some stores and food vendors. Yesterday I got my coupon book and there was one for 20% off Loft Outlet purchases. After the store sale, my coupon, and the $18 balance from my gift card, I saved enough to received one of my two blouses for free! Yipee!

Love your reasoning, AJ. I am nodding along as I read your explanations. You must share your techniques for minimizing an apple body; I'd never have suspected you were one.

#'s 3, 5, and 7 are not bad, but not 10s -- the others are more flattering and give you a better shape.

@elpgal: Good point about the polyester. I’ve never had a poly top for summer--I was thinking the loose fit on these would be more forgiving in the heat. Perhaps, not?
@Christieg and Heather: I’m glad you liked #6. It was my first attempt at finding a top to go with the skirt. I’m going to try and size down the blouse to see if I like it better. Chances are I would wear it untucked more often than tucked (since I am the waistless wonder.)
@Aida: Glad 9 is getting some love. Can’t wait to see your version of the camp shirt!
@sarah: #4 was my fave of the wovens. It does have a lot of fussy details around the neck though but I thought it would work great under the Gap shrunken blazer that I finally ordered (fingers crossed.)
@TG: You are absolutely right about the button down. It’s stretchy but not super comfy and I have a feeling it would just sit in my closet. It’s going back! I’m actually in the California--Bay Area. It gets hot but not really humid so the poly may be okay for most days. My legs thank you, too!
@Una: I hope you can track down the tops in 1. They are from the Factory Outlet and came in several prints and a few solids. You won’t have to worry about cleavage in these and they also nicely skim over my muffin : )

@Sara: Yeah, it’s definitely the shoulder thing with 8. It fits and that’s why I bought it. I think the collar will irritate me along with the wrinkles. I may have to cross the white button down off my list.
@AJ: Great analysis! I need to be a more critical shopper like you. I’m easily overwhelmed and always seem to be in a rush. I hope you can find the dolman at your TJ’s--it’s a great little top and is 100% cotton! I’ve never heard of outlet memberships--definitely something I’m going to look into.
