Tops for MOTG?

Currently I live in t-shirts (no logo). I have lots and lots of t-shirts and I love wearing them. I've been trying to branch out and got two summer blouses and I basically save them for a special day - like the weekend when my husband is home all day to see me. Yes, that's a big day. ; )

As fall approaches, what kind of tops should a MOTG wear? I'm betting it's not my long sleeve t-shirts!

I wear a variety of tops.... cotton button downs, pull over sweaters, graphic tees (tee shirt with patterned fabric), etc.

I recently bought this: http://www.target.com/p/Mossim.....A-13576306

I can wear it alone, with a jacket or sweater over it, or with a black layering tee underneath.

You can use your tees if they aren't TOO athletic looking. This is a good fall look with a long sleeved tee: http://youlookfab.com/2009/10/.....-outfit-2/

Or do a tee, long cardigan, and a long pendant.

I would slowly work on replacing the tees with tops instead. You can do it through attrition.

Thanks for the advice. I had forgot I had all those posts bookmarked. I will surely be studying them. I think I also need to invest in a few more jackets. And.... a pretty long pendant.
