Tops for midi skirt - apple shape

What tops should I pair with a tube midi skirt to minimize a apple tummy and short torso? The skirt is a new silhouette for me and I have nothing I own looks right.

It is this Vince camuto skirt in cobalt.

Oh! Pencil skirts are great to match with all sorts of tops. Wear something that is loose and floats away from the mid-section, with or without a banded bottom. Untucked.

A small wedge might make proportions feel better.

Fun skirt!

I got a knit tube skirt earlier this year. Here's how I wore it so far. As you can see, I haven't been too creative with the top's color, but there is a variety of silhouettes that seem to work.

Left to right:
Safari jacket
Cropped denim jacket and banded bottom top
Knit draped vest and A-line knit tank
Asymetrical hem tee
Woven and loose sleeveless top
