Topper for this dress?

I just purchased this dress for an April wedding in the mid-west. I have an apple shape and looking for a topper that can help with this. My coloring is similar to the models. I was planning on wearing strappy champagne colored sandal heels, but am open to other ideas. Thanks!

That's a beautiful dress. Which color did you get, the grey or the navy?Last year I was looking for a dress for a wedding, and at Macy's, they had a huge rack of shrugs. Most were black, but they did have a few other colors.

The other thought was a stole. Here's a light one that comes in several colors that might work.

I think that navy is a good color for those who have pale skin like we do! Have you thought about wearing silver shoes with that dress instead? Although champagne colored ones may be just as fine, especially if they are a light color.

With the slim lines of the dress, you have lots of choices. I like open cardigans with dresses. It could be short or long, even a really long duster topper. A shrug would also work well. The dress is lovely. You will not want to detract from it.
