I am not even eager for fall, but I do like most of spring's predicted color palette. Especially rose quartz, lilac grey and snorkel blue. http://wwd.com/fashion-news/de.....c=facebook
Interesting. I find the actual retail season's colors don't quite line up with what Pantone lists, must take an extra season or two for the colors to filter down to retail. "Rose Quartz" and "Serenity" have been my go-to pastels the past few years already (I call them "blush" and "periwinkle" ); "Buttercup" and "Fiesta" are go-to brights for me, although that particular yellow is hard to find. Guess I'll be able to find some pieces in some of my happy colors!
I could definitely dive right into some snorkel blue. But my real fave in the group is the less romantically named "limpet shell." Thanks for the preview!
Ooh, I'm looking forward to spring now. I love rose quartz, limpet shell, serenity and lilac grey. I hope those colours actually do trickle through to the stores, though. Sometimes I can't find those shades when the time comes.
Serenity (periwinkle) is one of my favorite colors for spring/summer as well. There are a lot of nice colors in the group but like Aida, I don't always see the Pantone picks as being quite right in terms of available items for the season.
I like how dark and rich Iced Coffee looks in this article but it is not what Pantone is showing for that shade, which is just what you think it should be, cafe au lait. Also, there aren't separate men's and women's palettes this time. http://www.pantone.com/pages/f.....038;pid=11
