I am so happy with my winners! I did a complete try on this morning of all the things I was considering. My sister was here and very helpful in helping me narrow down my choices. Though she was a bit of an enabler too! The only one she liked but didn't love is the Ted Baker sweater so I want to get DH's take on that one but I think it's a keeper.

I actually ended up sticking pretty closely to the categories i initially wanted to target- shoes, coats, toppers and tops. And I always stay open to finding a great bag or pair of boots but I didn't have any winners there. I will shop locally in September for boots and a bag is not a need.

A couple of these things were wild cards in that other fabbers liked them and I wanted to try them, even if I am not tall or thin or built anything like them! Like the COH jeans. They fit Angie and Suz...how can they fit me too?! A high rise jean that fits and actually makes my rear look good?! They must be magic! I love the thick denim and they will be a nice upgrade to a basic pair of Gap jeans. I recently got a pair of AG with a split hen so I am sorted on jeans for fall.

And I didn't expect the Vince cold shoulder sweater to work but I love it! I don't need too many warm tops but this one will be a nice addition. The shoulder works whether open just a little or a little more exposed. So it's an interesing detail on an otherwise basic cozy black cashmere sweater which means I will wear it often.

I couldn't be happier with the 3 toppers- RT tweed peplum jacket, Lafayette ink cardigan and the Lafayette ink tweed jacket. The 2 jackets fit beautifully and add great waist definition. The fabrics are gorgeous - The finds don't do them justice- and they are a perfect weight for my climate. The cardigan is more relaxed yet with enough structure. It has beautiful details with a knit front and matte silk back. Really lovely.

The dolman sleeve silk top fills 2 needs beautifully- to wear with a pair of dressier black shorts I got this spring from Madewell and to have another short sleeve top to dress up white or blue jeans a bit for work.

The burgundy boucle coat checks all the boxes- midweight, not black but not bright, streamlined style, good pockets, looks good open, dressy enough for work outfits. I also tried the green asymmetrical Angie pick ( in finds) which ticks many boxes too. But my sister and DH both thought that the burgundy is much more flattering and definitely my style.

I don't have a find for the James Perse long black fleece 'blazer', I guess it's gone. For me, it's long enough to be a coat and I can layer it over a shirt or sweater. It will be the perfect weight casual coat. It was one of those things you put on and say YES!

And finally, I am keeping both the Franco Sarto loafers in burgundy patent and the black Ecco sneakers. Both are comfortable and one casual and one work shoe are practical additions.

I am in pretty good shape for pants but would love to find a pair in an ink pattern. And 1-2 pairs of shoes or boots are still on my list. Other than that, my wardrobe is ready for fall and winter. Which sadly is still several months away here with lots of hot weather left!

Thanks for looking!

TLDR: Susie had a successful NAS and will now take a shopping break!
