Too young looking? My first time with leggings...

So here's another attempt at a mom-on-the-go outfit for myself. Lots of "stepping outside my box," including leggings (first time ever!) and a bright print. I like this better than my previous attempt at a mom-on-the-go outfit... but not totally in love with it, especially since I don't think it will work for play group meetings and stuff like that.

Wow it looks fantastic- it took me a while to get used to leggings and tunics ( i think you always feel more dressed up in dresses/ tunics) you'd be the sassiest mom at playgroup meetings, the others will be soooo jealous. I think once you get used to it you'll feel great in it at playgroup x

Edit i don't think you look too young at all i stick with my 'sassy' comment x

I think it's cute, and it doesn't look age innapropriate to me. Maybe a shorter (cropped) legging would be a better fit for the porportions though? I could totally see it at playgroup- with the leggings you wouldn't have to worry about crawling around on the floor, and the cardi gives it a more casual vibe. For some reason, I want your hair to be up in a messy knot with this LOL
I'm curious to see what others have to say.

I think it looks great, although I would also go with a shorter legging. You look fantastic in that print. And although you might feel more dressed up then your typical playgroup wear, it would certainly be a comfortable outfit to crawl around on the floor with the kids in.

I don't know your age, but you don't look inappropriate in any way to me.

I love this on you. I think you totally rock the leggings look!

You may feel the print is loud if you're not used to prints, but it's really not a loud print - maybe because the colors are darker? (And those are great colors on you.) I agree you could pull up the leggings a bit - you have the legs for it, and that might even make it feel more casual to you.

It doesn't look too dressy at all - you might feel it is if you're used to wearing jeans all the time - but honestly - it's fantastic. It's smart casual!

This doesn't look to young at all. I am beginning to think that the leggings look is not just for very young teenyboppers. I would have thought so previous to seeing Tarzy and others trying this look and it looks totally appropriate for anyone on a nice spring/summer day. I am not getting a teenbopper vibe from it at all.

i love it!! pleaseee where it to playgroups and show those other moms how to be totally stylish and comfortable at the same time! i'm seconding the suggestions for shorter leggings. show off those shapely legs!

I think it looks cute. BOP, how tall are you? IMHO, I just think this kind of look could easily become cutesy on someone who is already petite. You definitely need shorter leggings but overall I think the dress/tunic is a flattering length and the print is cool.

This is a fantastic look, and I don't think it's too dressy at all. Is that a Sweet Pea tunic/dress? It's a great print. With the casual little sandals, I wouldn't hesitate to wear this to a playgroup -- why not?

I'm 5' and 35 years old... guess I should have mentioned that! lol I have a feeling other mommies might give me the stinkeye if I showed up at playgroup in this... but who knows? Maybe I'll try it and see... Thanks for the comments!
