It's a sharp jacket, but I'm struggling over going the usual black route or mixing it up and going light. Thoughts?

Love! Of course, I'm wearing a white jacket today, so my eye is already acclimated. I also default to black and darker colors, but the white looks great on you, and it's fun to lighten things up sometimes. I feel quite dramatic in my white jacket, and I get the same vibe from this on you!

The white is stunning on you, Ann. It looks great with what you're wearing. I think in this instance I would favor the white, as I'm imagining that it shows off the cool design better.

I love the look of the white for you I have two fantastic white jackets and I am guilty, guilty, guilty of "saving" them because I worry about getting pen marks or something on the sleeves while I'm at my desk.

You can definitely wear white and i like this on you. What are your feelings? I know it's so easy to just go with black but one thing I do find is, generally speaking, my blacks have longevity. Sometimes whites don't last as long, they can start to look tired through wear and not be as 'bright' as when first purchased. Having said that, this would look awesome over your blacks:)

You're right Deborah, I do worry about that. I love the style but I think Sharan's right that some of the detail would be lost in the black. Also, I really don't need yet another black jacket. From what I'm seeing on Pinterest, gals are styling this with tattered boyfriends in Summer, which is something I feel I can do. I've brought it home to see if I can style it in other ways, so thanks all for your help!

I love that jacket. Maybe it's because I have only seen similar ones in a corporate setting, but I feel like it needs more sharpness in the rest of the outfit. So maybe black?

LOVE IT! It really sets off the color of your hair and eyes. If you feel a deep pull towards it, and it gives you great joy, you should buy it. It's a fabulous, and daring choice. Not many (enough) women wear beautiful white jackets like this.
