Too tall for cardigans?

I'm nearly 6 feet tall and I can't seem to find a simple cardigan for work. I find that they are too short in the arms and the body. When I go to store for tall people they are too big. Any suggestions?

They make styles that are extra long. On the sleeves, you can always push them up a bit, making the too-short arms look intentional.

I googled "long cardigans" and came up with lots of options.

Editing.... re-read your post and see you are asking about work cardigans. Since long ones tend to look casual, maybe it won't be that simple. Hmmm... I think some boy friend styles would work but will let the working women help you with that.

While I'm only 5'8", I often have the same problem with the sleeves. I would suggest looking for sweaters without long sleeves. If you can go with 3/4 sleeves, the shortness will look intentional. Boyfriend style sweaters tend to be longer in fit too.

Because I love knitting, I'm tempted to tell you to learn too. Then you could make cardis that fit you exactly as you wish them to!

The long cardigans that qfbrenda mentions can be paired with a stylish belt at the waist to give it a formal look.

I'm 6ft2 and I wear cardigans... but yes, it takes time to find the right ones.

In general H&M has pretty generous sleeves and I've had luck with them in the past.

The others are from all over, I just keep my eyes open and know what I won't compromise with

I'm tall at 5ft8 and I buy my cardigans from Gap ...I choose Tall and they are long enough to cover my butt. The sleeves are a bit too long but I don't mind - I just roll them over once.
