I know I keep asking your opinions, but I'm pre-shopping and weighing all options. I totally appreciate all the input, even if I'm putting purchases 'on ice' most the time. This one is different - I spied it last month and it caught my eye. Now it's on sale (see how waiting can turn in one's favor? ) and I wonder if I should jump. Leather, but not panelled, and certainly not black. I had grey suede and/or black paneled leather on my list. What do we think? Likely paired with soft sweaters and longer draping button front tops.

I would have to see them on. My first thought was "the mummy". If you can return them, why not get them and try?

Nicole, HA! The mummy . . . tee hee. For the record, I have zero gray pants or skirts, or dresses actually, ATM. Funniest thing of all, they suggested styling them with the foil linen shirt I have that I decided not to return but to make work.
Most importantly I know my BF hates full black leather. It's biker bimbo to him all the way. Period. No way around that. Maybe panel jeans would work, but maybe a color other than black also would. 'Course, the panel jeans I'd like are $700 and these are under $200

Hey what does your BF think of my furry vest and leather skinnies? Because I do not want to convey biker with that.

I love the idea of these but need to see them on to get a real sense. They could be very Rick Owens or they could be The Mummy. Or are those the same thing?

Well, finding a coupon code to put them at $74 before tax and shipping pretty much sealed the deal for giving them a try! Let's see if they get here before my Zara jacket I ordered last year lol.

Una, that would likely be more Mad Max than biker. He had too many years of working in Daytona at the car dealership when Bike Week would happen. Scarred for life, I'm afraid lol.

I voted yay. I think that they are very you. You also have a few sleek, uncomplicated tops that would look good with them. Worth the try, IMO..

My first instinct was YAY! which is unusual because normally pants like this don't do much for me. But something about the colour really takes these away from the traditional hard-edged zipper or biker or leather look. They are definitely worth a try!

OK, even before I read some of the initial comments, I thought of Boris Karloff in *The Mummy*. But as long as you don't style them with a bandage-like top, maybe you'll be OK? :^)

My first thought was, "Bandaged knees! She must have fallen down and hurt herself." Then I wondered whether the wearer could bend her knees with the extra fabric there.

Is this innovation just to be different, or is it a truly great look? I would guess the first, but you would have to try them to find out how you like them.

Hunh, I wonder why I first thought of crackling when I saw them, but you all see bandages . . . Maybe the close up view is better.

They will probably look very nice on you because you have a good figure but I think they look like they ran away from the trauma unit. The general shape is nice but I don't like those bandaged knees.

Well, I appreciate the votes of confidence on how they might work out for me! One thing I think at play here, is I'm tired of waiting, hemming, hawing - this year I just want to order it already and see if it works. If not, I spend a little time and money at the post office. C'est la vie. You can't win if you don't play ha ha.
