Too nursey??? (pic heavy)

I received the winter white skirt today and just had to try some stylin'. Not sure it will work for winter but I will love it come spring. I would need something on my legs for winter and I was going for the trouser look without the trousers. Any suggestions? I may just have to try and find winter white trousers or skinnies. (sorry about the pic with the flash)

1 - 3 with tiights
4 - 8 various tops and shoes/booties

What about nude fishnets? Love it with the second top (love, love,love that top), I'm not very good at visualizing but wonder if black hose would work with #1 and 2 paired with a dark shoe. or maybe a cream/white bootie with the white hose. it's a great skirt.

My inclination with winter white skirts or dresses is to go either one way or another - nude leg with nude shoe or black tights with black shoe.

Great skirt. Maybe try tights in a color that ties to your top? Caramel boots are a great idea. I'd probably avoid anything cream on your legs. To me you look kind of long in the leg and as though you could take having your line broken.

I love the skirt on you; it's just a question of whether you can style it in ways that will work for you. And I am going to keep my eyes on this. The whole light bottoms thing is still an issue for me with my climate and I would love to have more options!

Deb, I think it isn't the skirt and tights saying 'nursey' so much as the oxfords *with* them (which, by the way, are a great-looking pair on their own!). My uncertainty immediately disappears when you switch to booties --- in fact, I really like the bold solids in #3 as a whole, though the floral top is also great with the skirt.

Of course, other footwear is easier to wear without tights or with coloured/nude hose.

I actually kinda like the white stockings... but Denise has killer style, so don't listen to me.

I like the white skirt "manned up" with the oxfords and tartan shirt best.
