Too matchy matchy?

I did some damage. Shopping for clothes was very frustrating lately, so I decided to concentrate on accessories instead. And I was much more successful - I got a bag, shoes and a scarf. I was thinking of wearing them all together but now I am having second thoughts. Is it too matchy matchy? Can I maybe wear two at the time or not even that? And also I bought them for my work wear but is it possible to style them more casually?

I think you can make any of those things into a great "smart-casual" outfit. I guess it depends on what else you match these things with. You probably can't go wrong with one per outfit, but I think you could get away with two out of the three in one outfit too. Maybe all three, it just depends on what else you pair them with. It would definitely make a statement.

I really like all three pieces and they could all definitely be worn with casual outfits. I think if you based an outfit around the contrasting colours, you could wear all three pieces. Imagine all three worn with a pair of black jeans and a cream coloured top.

I'd probably go with two at a time but I like them all on their own. That scarf would be a good addition to a denim jacket.

I think depends on what comes in between. If you do a little white suit, that would become a matchy matchy overkill, I think. If you did a denim suit, that I think would be hot.

I like GX's idea. Also, those three pieces would look amazing with a block of contrasting color, say red or cobalt blue. Maybe a sheath dress in either color? Red skinny jeans and cream top?

How about with hot pink or bright green? I would probably wear them all together if they went with the outfit.

I love all three pieces! I'm not sure I'd wear them all together, but it could work depending on what you wore with them. I agree with others, that adding some color seems like a good idea.

I think, like Zap and Jem say, a block of solid colour or a single low-contrast pattern (tweed?) would be fabulous if you want to bring all three together.

And two items together is a no-brainer, especially if you separate the shoes and bag, making the scarf your second item.

I can also see the bag and shoes (minus scarf) along with a colour-blocked dress featuring those specific colours (like the BCBG cape dresses from last season) for a very bold modern look.

Oooh! You got the Stuart Weitzman pumps--the heeled version of Angie's GIveable flats! Nice! Are they comfy?

I love matchy-matchy (in fact I did a triple matchy outfit myself here: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....re-stripes), so I say go for it! I think they would look great all together! And they can be worn separately with lots of casual pieces. Post some pics of yourself in them!

Nice pieces, just make sure your other clothes are near to neutral and you can use even use all three at a time. Doesn't look too matchy, (and high-five for a fellow matchy matchy)

Thank you all for such a nice comments. You gave me a few good advices and I really like the idea to wear it with something bright. But it means I have to do some more damage;) I don't own any colorful pieces. But red jeans are already on the way;)

Maybe I will gather some courage soon and post my outfit with all 3 of them together.

Goldenpig, yeas they are SW pumps, I got them while ago from yoox when they had some spring promotion and free shipping. I ordered them just to tried them on, to see if they are comfortable and how they fit. I was planning to return them and then if I like them to stalk them until they go on sale. But after I tried them on, there was no way on returning them;) Most comfortable shoes that I have ever tried on! I did not want to risk that they will sell out before going on sale.
