As some of you know, I'm a relatively late adopter of the bootie crazy. I bought my first pair in late 2009 but only started wearing them with frequency during the past few months.
In my search of a neutral/taupe bootie, I had ordered the Steve Madden ones that Angie recommended but didn't love them on for some reason, nor could I get the sizing to work for me. I gave up the hunt. And then stumbled across these (on sale!) and ordered them.
They fit beautifully and are suprisingly comfortable. I haven't styled them yet but am seeking input on the practicality of this purchase. I think I would wear them mainly with straight/skinny jeans tucked in but since we're moving into more flared pants, is it wise to purchase shoes based on a look that may be passe? I will also pair these with tights and skirts but since I have booties in black and grey, these fall into the want (not need) category.
So, ladies, back to the question at hand: would you purchase spring booties or wait to see if this trend still has longevity in the fall?
I should mention that I live in San Francisco so our summer is akin to your fall--chilly and foggy, with boots highly prevalent!
