The Nicole cutout booties from DSW have arrived. I am still waiting on the blue Miistas, so will style them both together when those arrive. But I couldn't resist putting these on and taking a couple of quick snaps.
The good news is that my inserts fit and don't show, and my smallest footies barely show (the blue ones on one of my feet; the other foot has a nude, higher one that won't work). They are pretty comfy.
The bad news... well, they seem kind of flowerpot-like to me. Which makes them look a little too big and heavy to me. What do you think? They are the correct size lengthwise - although it may not look like it, the back of my heel actually touches the back of the shoe. And my orthotic insert is already in place here, so you can imagine there is even more room without it.
I suspect what I really need is something that comes up a bit higher up my ankle.
