Glad you decided to keep...looks wonderful on you!!

Gorgeous! I especially love it on its own and with the scarf in pic #3.

I'm glad that you are keeping it and have a versatile light neutral for a brightener. I also like it with or without a scarf.

Thanks everyone! It's good to hear it works better than I thought. I won't think twice about wearing it now, also without a scarf.

I have a poison eye for beige and usually don't like taupe, so you'll appreciate that I mean it when I saw that I really like this on you. There's enough contrast with your skin tone and it's fun to see a lighter top on you. It looks marvelous with the scarf. Great fit.

I already washed it by the way and it turned out exactly as I thought it would! This one also shrunk a bit and the size is great now.

Late to this thread but I really like this colour for you. It will be very versatile.

I think you look beautiful. It *is low-contrast but I can't figure out why it works so well for you. You look lovely.

I am not a fan of beige as a sweater. As a coat yes, I think you can wear it , but perhaps a rose/red scarf with it?

I think it looks good on you. I like beige on others - I find it very elegant. Unfortunately, I look like death in beige and avoid it all costs. I'm glad it shrunk to the right size and you now have a light neutral to play with.

Thanks Glory and Thirkellgirl!

I don't think I'd ever buy an investment piece like a coat in a color I'm ambivalent about! And beige outerwear is often a trench coat which is totally not my thing. Better an inexpensive sweater.

Thanks Sara! I knew it would work out with the shrinking from the past, otherwise I might have been nervous. It's still a relaxed fit of course, but just a tad more formfitting.
