I don’t wear tonal or monochrome outfits often. For me, some colors are easier to work with. Aside from black, I can do grey and caramel more or less successfully. But I struggled with putting together navy/ink tonal outfits. Somehow different shades of navy in one outfit don’t look great together to my eye. I wish I could be more creative, navy/ink is one of my main colors.
When putting together tonal outfits for colder months, I usually go for outwear in another color. Mostly I just don’t have a piece in the same color
What are your challenges in tonal dressing? Do you wear it often and what are your rules?
