TOMS - New Wedge Styles - What do you think?

Some of you may already know but I just found out like 10 minutes ago that TOMS makes wedges too. I'm kind of digging the tweed and the stripe styles. I'm SYC/SYB'ing currently but if I weren't I would definitely try them.

Wow-- so much less ugly and less like the shoes they give prison inmates and people in mental institutions! I do appreciate what tom's does though. I had a funny conversation about it the other day with a cousin who just finished her first year at a very liberal college where many of the students go barefoot on campus. Shoes are important because parasites and disease can enter your body through your feet. I don't wear wedges much either though, although I do agree and I like the two styles you picked. The wrap boots look a bit like ninja turtle shoes.

I totally love those. I do respect the Toms model but the flat shoes are NMS. These are.

Elly, barefoot on campus? I'd never be brave enough to do that..forget parasites, I'd be worried about thorns and stones and things digging into my soles.

I also think they might be well suited to people in warmer climates - the canvas might help the shoes breathe better.

I have the yellow striped wedges with the cork bottoms... they are super cute and comfy in person ... way cuter than the flats IMO.

The tweed ones are cute! I could see these with a casual sundress or bermuda shorts easily.

I wasn't a huge fan of Tom's at first, but they are sort of growing on me now! Sometimes it takes awhile... these are totally cute though!
