Hi Fabbers! I'm on a roll here. Does anyone have this in a size small that could measure the width from armpit to armpit? I'd like to compare this to my denim jacket. TIA.

Kelly I just got back from the Tommy B store near my home. I tried the jacket on in a size Small and Extra Small. I wish I had seen your post. I always have a little tape measure with me. FWIW the small fit me but was a little big.

I have one. Here are the measurements:

from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the top 16"

across the back from the midpoint of the sleeve seam 14.75"

across the back from armpit to armpit seam 21"

There is a little bit of stretch to it, as there is to most linen.

Kelly, I didn't get one. I tried on the olive green and the flax/neutral one. There were lots of colours and the turquoise one was gorgeous. I didn't get one because I have so many olive jackets and I wanted something different.

The shoulders are almost identical to my gap jacket. The chest measurement is 3” different measured flat—that would be almost 6” extra ease. That might be fine in a linen though. Sounds like a trip to the TB storenis in order. At least I know that it’s a definite possibility!
@stylefan: IKWYM. I wear my olive toppers the most and have quite a few. That’s the color I like the best but need the least. White looks nice but I hardly ever wear my white denim jacket because I feel like it makes me look wider on top. I wear jeans 90% of the time so have to be careful of what shade of blue to get. Love the turquoise and the chili colors the most. I guess I’ll cross that bridge if the jacket fits!

The jacket is cut straighter than the Gap denim jacket. I noticed extra fabric in the chest and torso area. It depends on the look you are going for. The brighter colours are nice.
