I thought this overview celebrating the sartorial choices of late writer Tom Wolfe (“The Right Stuff”, among other things) was interesting. Talk about a signature style that really conveys who you are, how you write, what you desire to project:

“Almost always appearing in a bespoke white suit — often accessorized with a printed tie, colored pocket square, and white hat — Wolfe cultivated his signature look with as much care and imagination as he crafted his vivid prose.”
