Ah, yeah, got my numbers mixed up.
Anyway, #2 looks as good as #1 to me. I have a tendancy to match my shoes with my top, maybe that's why.
And I'm often too lazy to do the outfit creation exercises but when I've done it for a post I found it informative and useful too.

It was as if BR and Angie had you in mind! I would love to see you add some pattern to #1. Great ensembles!

This is totally your color scheme! So pretty!

I immediately thought of you when I saw this ensemble. These are your colors!

I quite like both outfits. #1 is my favorite, but it seems less practical for casual, hot summer days than #2, so I think you should both as the weather/activities require. Hooray for new outfit combinations!

You and Tanya are killing it with your renditions of Angie's ensemble today! The first is my favorite. I think with the second outfit, it's not exactly the sandals, I think they work here. I think it's the top, it needs to be more fitted and/or with an open neckline.

Thank you Texstyle and Ledonna!

I thought you may have had your numbers mixed Isabelle. Yes, you're right, it is informative to have these try on sessions.

Thanks Quietgirl, funny you should say that about pattern, because I made a comment somewhere on the forum last week about having added a lot of solid colours and now I crave some prints

Thanks Diana!

Thanks Jenn...yes right up my alley, these colours. You're right about #1...but then we don't get much in the way of hot sunny weather in the UK.

Thanks Denise...hmm...you may be right about the neckline.

Both looks are great. I have a slight preference for the second look. You can keep running with this color palette for quite awhile.

Great looks! I associate coral with your outfits I think they are both nice in different ways. I really like coral and have none in my closet right now. I was just thinking I needed a few summer tops (I don't have any short enough to wear with skirts) and maybe coral is the way to go.

These colours are so you Diane. Even your decor is coral and cream. I have a slight preference for #1 but both are gorgeous on you.

I saw the post today and had the image of you instantly in my head, and here you are. It just goes to show that you do know your colours and they look so right on you, that I've started associating you with coral anything.
Both outfits are spot on and I hope you'll have many happy moments wearing them.

The colors are lovely on you and go so well with your hair and skin.

Both of these are fantastic, Diane! I had to laugh at your comment about tying your hair back because it's not styled yet--I looked at the photos first, and thought it looks like a fresh summer alternative for you.

Di, you look lovely. I was thinking about your posts, and that you always look serene and elegant, and composed!

These are great colours on you. I like the colour of the sandals. I think I would keep them, especially if they are comfortable, but perhaps for a change, only wear them with longer trousers, so the heel is covered.

Wow - these colours are stunning on you and both looks are wonderful. #1 for mild summer days, #2 for the heat of summer.

Gorgeous, Diane! I love outfit #2, it looks perfect for a hot summer.
It's like Angie's blog post was written just for you.

Thank you so much UmmLila, Sara, Rachy, StyleFan, Ornella, Anna, Sharan, Jane, Bijou and Helen!

So fab! I am also on board with this capsule's being so You.
Add olives and stir, for more combinations.....

A wonderful use of Angie's inspiration, love them both, great job!

This combination was made for you!

I love the colors in #1 and lucky you that they suit you so well.
Really, the shoes in #1 make the outfit. It's the warm metallic, I think, that really works. Silver wouldn't work as well.

Also love the culottes in #2 and they look great with your clog-like footwear.

Hmm...I'm feeling the pull of metallic shoes...
You know

You look fantastic! Coral is definitely one of your best colors, if not the best. I love the outfits, too. Well put together and styled to the 9s.

Thanks Unfrumped, Tracey, Jaime, Smittie and BC!
