To me it looks like Boden's summer catalog is FULL of YLF stuff!

I got my catalog today and see many skirts and dresses and tops that look like flattering pieces.

Anyone else feel like it has many good options?

To me, Boden’s catalogues always look appealing, Debbie. It’s a GREAT marketing strength!

Boden's catalogues make me happy. I adore their products too, especially when they go on sale Their marketing and branding is fantastic and has a very nice personal touch.

I was looking at their very YLF-inspired clams and wondering if the leg is narrow enough?

Oh! Maya, those clams look good - they must be new as I didn't see them in the spring catalog. I might give the white ones a try!

I didn't care for Boden's collection this summer for the first time in several years. I found the prints too big and loud to be flattering and everything had huge buttons on it. Their kids clothes are adorable, though.

I am actually surprised to see that the Boden clams have a 15" length. I think my clams (which didn't fit) are 17", which is the long length. I wouldn't know what to get.

I do love a lot of the clothes they're carrying right now. It seems like they are one of the few places that has washable day dresses in casual styles. I've never ordered from them before - how do the sizes run? I usually wear a 4/6 at Ann Taylor/Ann Taylor Loft. My biggest concern is that the dresses and skirts are all going to be a bit too long. I'm on the shorter side so like to have things at or slightly above my knee.

Boden's tops seem to run TTS or slightly large. I am a 2/4 in US sizing, and wear an 8 in Boden sizes.

Pants are another story. They should be great for pear shapes, but I had some problems with them. The jeans I got in an 8 are tight. They look good but they're not as comfortable as I would like, and I get some major muffinage. The 10's on the other were just WAY too big. I ended up keeping the 8's, since they fit in the hips and thighs and hopefully if I lose an inch or two around the tum they will fit.

These are the jeans in a 10. As you can (sort of) see, they are enormous on me and look awful:

In my hunt for clams (since I have thrown in the towel on the cargos), I ordered the Bodens in a 10R. I have no idea if the length will work, or if I should have been a 12 (according to their charts, a small US size 6 is a 10 and a large size 6 should order a 12 - I tried to ponder whether I was a small or large US 6 but it made my head hurt).

Will report in when they arrive - fingers crossed.

Knowing Boden's sizing and fit, I think they should work well for you Laura. They seem very pear-oriented.

Yay, pears I guess they are looking to hit the majority ...

I was impressed with some of Boden's summer additions. It seems someone there is reading Angie's mind. As Maya said, it's a happy catalog and we could all use a big dose of happy these days.
