Distracting myself from the destroyed jacket. When I got back from vacation a couple weeks ago I took a look at an Angie find that she had recommended I check out. Spot on! Fortunately I’m shorter than the model so the dress is a length I’m more comfortable with, though I also have patterned black tights coming to wear this with (I found this season that most of my old tights were dead.)
I’ll plan to wear this to my company holiday party next month, but maybe I need an excuse to do something else semi-dressy?

Anyway: I love it. It’s light but adequately lined, drapes well, not clingy but not voluminous, trendy sleeves that feel more capelike when my arms are in motion but add more coverage than a sleeveless dress... and come on, you all know I love the color.

This isn’t styled, just wearing end of day hair/makeup and shoes I wore to work, lighting is terrible, etc., but hope it gives you an idea.
