Okay, maybe this is just my own problem...but does anyone else dislike wearing shoes without hosiery of some kind? Except in a warm summer climate, which is where I used to live, my feet just freeze in flats, yet I see lots of women running around in ballet flats with smiles on their faces! Do they know something that I don't know?

So...if you live in a climate that tends toward cold and nasty most of the year, what kind of hosiery do you wear when the calendar says Spring and Summer, but the
mercury on the thermometer is still a wintery low?
