Hi Greg, I want to know if there is any way to save a post that I started without publicly posting it immediately ? Would others find this helpful ladies or is it just me who needs time ? Lol

Sometimes I would like to get some thoughts down and either come back to them later or I want to go search for something to reference or link to and come back later.

You mean like a gmail draft? : )

I guess the next best thing would be to open another tab or window. I've lost posts for sure!

That might be a nice thing to have. I usually just do what Nancy does and open it in a new window. However, I have lost posts that way. Specifically when I go to submit my post and the site logs me out instead! (I have it set to automatically remember me but it only does so for a limited period of time - I think 2 weeks or something.)

The other workaround is to just type the post in Word or TextEdit but often the formatting gets messed up (it adds weird line breaks) when I copy and paste into the forum.

I've done as Mochi suggests, saving a post in email, as a draft. I would use Word, but I don 't have it since I use an iPad.

I guess I've been lucky. I do this constantly - begin and then open another tab - and I've never lost a post being composed.

I would love that draft feature too.

And another plea for being able to tag our blog posts. I would love to be able to find all the ways I wore a certain item more easily, or categorize our outfits.

Drafts make a lot of sense. I have added it to the list.

For those who lost posts, please let me know the details of how that happened. There might be a bug there.

Hi Greg,
The way I have lost posts in the past is that generally I'll compose my post, but then when I hit submit the site will log me out (so I get the main forum page and have to log in again) instead of posting my reply/post. My best guess is that it happens because I have YLF set to automatically remember my login, but the cookie expires after a certain amount of time?
