I was shopping for a friend's baby shower in an outlet store and (accidentally, of course......) stumbled upon this white blazer from Theory, priced down from $365 to $88.

Love it, but not sure if the cropped sleeves look awkward to other eyes.
Also, does it seem too small? It is really snug and "hugging" but still comfortable.
The weird bunching in the back is due to slit being still sewn together, but you can see how tight it looks.

I would wear it in spring/summer with jeans and dresses. But I only want to get it if it really looks good and flattering, because I am trying to be very selective with new additions to my wardrobe. This would be the very first white blazer I own, and probably the only white one in the foreseeable future. Should I get it (if it's still there) or should I keep looking? I would really appreciate your input

Looks good! For the sleeves, scrunching them a little will help. I don't believe it is too small. Check the shoulders. Did you try it done up? How is it across the chest? Can you move your arms comfortably?

I think the close up on the fabric looks like a searsucker? Very pretty... I would think you could scrunch the sleeves in summer with no worries for the length. Definitely check for range of motion in the arms, I have a jacket where I didn't and regretfully never wore it because I couldn't lift my arms to drive, type etc.

It fastens fine, but I never wear my blazers closed so have not tried moving around in it that way.

Of course, arms above my head does not put the blazer in its best light even when open, since the fit is snug, but normal movements such as extending arms up front and to the sides are not impaired.

Thanks for the tip to scrunch the sleeves, I think I will go back and try it that way before making final decision. And I'm not sure if it is seersucker, but the fabric alternates between more opaque and transparent stripes in a scrunched up fabric. Quite lovely with a very lightweight feel.

Evie, it's nice to see you! I think the blazer looks lovely. I actually like that sleeve length on you, but if you don't, scrunching will solve the problem. As long as it doesn't pull across the back when you move your arms around, it seems like the fit is perfect. It doesn't look too small at all.

Hi, Evie! What a great deal and it looks like it could be a summer workhorse for you. The fit looks good to me, and it looks like you could roll or scrunch the sleeves for added appeal. Great find!

Oh, it's GREAT! That's a bracelet sleeve, I think, and OK to be that length, especially in the summery seersucker fabric. Is it belted in the back? Even cuter, if so!

Since you'll mainly wear this in summer I think it's the perfect blazer for you. I could see it with jeans but also with a bright or printed sheath dress and sandals, or a flippy skirt and flats.

I think a size up might be too big. To my eye it fits well.

It's a fabulous fit, I think, especially as you don't feel the need to button it! LOVE that fabrication, and you wear white really well. Seersucker instantly reads 'summer'. Go for it!

I think it's great! I love a bracelet-length sleeve, and I wear my white blazer ALL THE TIME in the summer and I bet you will, too!

I agree that it's a lovely jacket! I hope you can go back for it. Especially if it's final sale, I would open the vent and make sure the back sits right before you buy it.
