To buy or not to buy?

I have some store credit I need to spend. I spotted these shoes on sale - they're quite different from everything I own. They look versatile and seem comfortable too.

I don't remember last time I had suede shoes. And, I have no idea if they are too bright?

Bearing in mind my lifestyle will soon be different as I'll be promoted to MOTG, WDYT should I buy them or not?

I like them but I don't have any suede footwear either so I cannot answer for practicality - especially if your climate is wet. They are not bright though, just a nice light(er) neutral.

I think these are quite nice and neutral color so it will go with pretty much anything. I can see these being worn with casual clothes as well as more dressy items. You should get it!
P.S. Suede is not really that practical especially light colored one. best worn in dry weather since water is its worst enemy:)

I think they are adorable, Ornella, and I love the color. It's a classic neutral. As long as the heel is not too high for your new MOTG lifestyle, I'd say buy them.

As far as the fabrication goes, I have suede shoes and boots, and suede is a pretty hard-wearing material, not much different from smooth leather. You may need to brush up the nap sometimes with a suede brush (I've been known to use an old toothbrush or extra nailbrush for this purpose) and you should spray them with a good waterproofer meant for suede. I don't always practice what I preach (hanging my head here); nonetheless, my suede footwear has held up well.

Suede is high maintenance, but I love them anyway!!
Just treat them with waterproofing and they should be ok...great neutral and will be quite versatile!

I love those but I would really worry about the practicality, especially in a wet climate. I've never had luck with suede. I rejected a pair of shoes recently that I really liked b/c they were part suede (part patent too).

These are a gorgeous MOTG neutral pair of booties! I can see these going with so many things. As for the practicality, I have had suede boots in our snow/wet and as long as I keep up with the spraying and weatherproofing of them, they are fine. Definitely higher maintenance than leather but not impossible.

I think this are great Ornella. I was just looking at something similar in the stores here yesterday. I think if your scotchguard them they shoul be fine. I wear suede boots in winter and it can be quite wet here. I could see these being real 'go to' boots for a busy MOTG.

Do I spy Clarks desert wedges? I vote get them.
I have some suede booties very much like this in bottle green I keep them well waterproofed and don't wear them out when I know it's raining and they still look great x
