I have to apologize for being a forum hog these days but I don't think there is any more shopping in my future so this should be the last shopping post for a while. I returned things to the Loft and stopped by TJMax. To my surprise, they had a large selection of Paige, Joe's jeans, and Seven for All Mankind denim (including some nice white and pastel colored jeans) as well as a number of Vince t-shirts.
I picked up three items with the goal of making the final decision at home after taking pictures.
I got a Vince dolman t-shirt (looks like this is the same one http://www.shopbop.com/dolman-.....38;s_kwcid ), Paige Troy Boy skinnies in taupe (I think this is the same model except in a different color http://www.6pm.com/paige-troy-.....st=mat%3A1 ), and a $10 racerback tank (photo #3) to go under the blue Vince sweater I photographed earlier.
I was very uncertain about the Paige jeans (#2) but after trying them on again at home, the fit is just amazing (and the color is a nice taupe, which makes me think of Suz ). I think if I keep these, I will return the floral Rockstar jeggings since I only wanted to add one item of spring-weight denim to my wardrobe. I hope these are not too ridiculously skinny for someone in their early 40s. (They are quite skinny, with little darts near the knee). Does the styling with the oxfords in the last photo in #2 look OK?
The Vince t-shirt (in #1 and #2) is very nice and I am really on an oversized top kick lately; the only question is how well it will hold up (it is viscose and supposedly has to be hand-washed).
Last photo shows evidence that spring has finally come to our neck of the woods (even though it was 28F this morning).
