I had this issue recently for 7 days in Vienna and 2 days in Budapest. All I packed were 7 linen and cotton dresses in a carryon (plus bathing suit, cover up, jewelry, and scarf). I rolled everything loosely, but didn't have the time or patience to line everything in tissue paper or silk.
Once I got to Vienna (clothes had been packed for about 13 hours), I had the opportunity hang everything in a wardrobe. The dresses were somewhat wrinkled along the folds, but I could have worn everything as is, esp. considering I was wearing a crossbody bag and I rolled up the long sleeves on the shirtdresses. The collars were fine as I made sure they weren't in a fold and weren't crunched.
Nonetheless, I took about 15 minutes to run an iron over all the dresses and hang them back up! It was a small effort with a big pay-off in looking and feeling more polished.
For the last 2 days of the trip, I again rolled everything loosely. This time my clothes were packed for about 8 hours before I arrived at my destination. I didn't even bother ironing anything, as the dresses were only slightly wrinkled, and it didn't concern me. (The last two dresses of the trip were in a darker color, and the wrinkles weren't as noticeable.)
If you don't have time to get your hands on some tissue paper or old dry cleaning bags or silk scarves, you'll be alright.
