Shannon's thread reminded me of an alteration I had done recently. It was kind of a "duh" moment for me, but I wanted to pass this tip onto you, in case it hadn't occurred to you.

I bought some long Zella workout pants from Nordstrom during NAS. I was going to return them, because like all full-length workout pants, they were too long for me. But wait, Nordstrom has free alterations (for cardholders and for NAS purchases)! Bingo. I had them shortened at Nordstrom and they fit great now
