Time for MY Danier post. - YouLookFab Forum

I had K/R post intended, but with DH's accident, I didn't have time/energy to get any styling photos pulled together, then my return window passed (perhaps somewhat intentionally) and I still don't have a whole pile of time to style this, but did want to share with you. I hope you agree that "K" is the right decision!

I can't remember who else has this baby, but I know Shannon does.

Oh, and I'll throw in a photo of my OTHER Danier purchase :)... a total whim/impulse buy, but when I put it on, my face just started glowing. It's not a colour I've ever worn, but was just given the striped sweater in #3, which I get tons of compliments on. So I may just have to start. The pink is a bit bluer than it shows in the photo, and just can't be bothered to get that right...

Whoo hoo Elizabeth!!! Love both of these on you - gorgeous fits and I like all the stylings. The white will be incredibly versatile and the pink is just pure fab fun!

I do wonder if both need the sleeves shortened a wee bit though - what do you think?

BTW Celia has this white jacket too if I remember correctly.

Thanks Shannon. I wondered about the sleeves as well, I will leave them for now, so I can get some wear out of the jacket, and perhaps get them done in the summer.

The pink is lovely on you! Definitely wear that colour more often. I think the sleeves could be a touch shorter too. The white jacket is excellent too!

Both great buys! The white jacket will be a wardrobe workshorse for you. I love it in #6 with navy blue skirt and striped scarf. Pink is also a beautiful colour on you. I would repeat what Shannon said about sleeves though.

Excellent jackets! I love the white with navy best of all, but that's totally my bias since I built my spring shopping around navy and white.

Both jackets look absolutely fabulous on you! I have my eye on the white one for myself, but that hot pink one, WOW! It's amazing! The color looks great, and I have a feeling it will go with everything from jeans to a sheath dress. Great buys!!!

Thanks Ceit, Mona, Jules and Linda. I think it'll be a workhorse too... and it feels so wonderful when I put it on, makes it fun and easy to wear.

Wow, they both look so great! I do like you in the black jackets, it suits you, but the white looks great too and is such a nice, fresh, spring alternative. The shape and color of the pink is just perfect on you!

Thanks Rae... the black is already feeling heavy for this time of year, so a springy feel was what I was looking for. I had originally bought the pink one in white... but it had a flaw, and then that line of jackets was recalled because of a dye issue or something. So I had fallen for that shape, although I do think having a collar is better for a jacket that will probably be an outside one, better for scarves. So what do I do? Get a white one AND one in that shape. No minimalist here

Love both jackets! Vibrant and fresh. What about that pink with tan/nude neutrals and white? Or both with navy?

So sorry to hear about DH's accident. My husband and I are cyclist -- DH does lots of distance events. He's been hit by a car at 45mph --- and walked away! That day he happened to be riding with 3 police paramedics. What a blessing.
Any way hope he recovers quickly and completely.

These are both fantastic! And, let me see...do you now own THREE Danier jackets? Oh, no, you are ahead of me!! I must catch up!!!

I agree about the sleeves needing to be shortened a bit, but also understand that you would want to wear the jackets now for the next few weeks until it is impossible in the heat!

Beth Ann, I'll defintily wear the pink with white, literally threw it on here to show it off, haven't had a chance to "play" with it. And I can't believe your DH walked away from being hit by a car... we have lucky men!

Suz... cough cough.... caught me! I certainly had NO intention of getting so many, but I seem to have a bit of a "thing" with leather going on... I feel it really suits me. High HF! And their prices really are quite reasonable, once things are on sale... right? (PS, I also have an older one, more of a loose blazer style, wear it as an outdoor coat only. Oops)
