I think they look great! I think 'bookending' may be slightly more extreme in the sense that if you have very light shoes and very light hair it's probably flop proof, and very dark shoes and very dark hair ditto.

I am not sure (someone will put me right) that this would necessarily be light enough to be bookending, but they look like great boots and hope to see a pic of you in them...

okay, but you think they would be better than the brown? i love the brown color, i think i could wear them more often and it wouldn't seem like they take over the outfit as much.

You don't have to buy boots the same as your hair colour.

If you want the brown and think they'd be more flexible then go for the brown. They look great too!

That is hard for me to answer because, as a brunette, I would buy the darker ones for bookending and versatility with the colors in *my* wardrobe.

It sounds as though you feel the darker ones blend with your wardrobe better? I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I just feel that wearing the brown ones more often wouldn't get as old, they aren't as big of a statement. The brown ones don't draw attention maybe as much as the butterscotch? But maybe it's time to get a statement pair. I mean I already have some reddish-brown born crown riding boots.
