Tights conundrum (ETA: another topper)

I tried this dress and jacket together and liked the look. It is too cold for bare legs though so I'm wondering - can I add tights to this ensemble? What colour? One idea I have is to add black tights since the pattern of the dress has a lot of black in it. Or a dark brown since that is there in the pattern too?

ETA: This dress goes with my light denim jacket too. Could I add tights and flats/oxfords to this combo too?

Of course you can add tights! This doesn't read 'summer dress only' to me. I think both black and brown would work, I'd try it out to see what you like better. It's probably a personal preference thing. Then some boots, booties or oxfords and you're good to go! Really love the jacket with the dress btw, I think this will be an awesome outfit!

Love this and tights would be perfect. I would suggest simply wearing the same color as your shoes or boots for the easiest no thought needed way to add them... If feeling more adventurous just pick out any color in the print....

I think the denim jacket works too, although this combination somehow looks more summery to me than with the bright jacket.

denim. the orange jacket stands out that i can't appreciate the dress print fully. the denim focuses the attention on the dress but is a great well-fitting piece on its own.

Tan, brown, black will all work wth this great dress I really prefer it w/the orange jacket...just looks more pulled together to me. Definitely dont confine this pretty number to summertime

Wow, both jackets work perfectly. That dress is quite versatile. I confess I'm partial to the denim but I'm not sure if it's because of the perfect fit or pretty you look.

Black or brown could certainly both work, along with burgundy or mustard if you're feeling colorful. It looks really great with the denim jacket, so maybe also try some lighter colored tights to pick up on that?

A textured nude would be really pretty. Rust would certainly work, anything low contrast against the dress would be great with the light denim. Ooh and maybe a creamy lace for print mixing?

Okay so I should get a pair of nude tights then and will try the rust. Cream lace tights sound exciting, I'll keep an eye out for those! Thank you Aida
