My outfit this week matched two of Angie’s posts- I feel very au courant! I didn’t know tiered skirts are having a moment, so that was especially fun to read.
This outfit doesn’t hit all of my style adjectives (glamorous, capable, prickly)- it’s lacking the dangerous edge I struggle to find. But the fact that I’m wearing an actual outfit in a burning hot pandemic summer and especially the swish of the skirt makes me feel
glamorous. The shoes- which I hope read fashion forward and not orthopedic- and sun-protected skin make me feel capable.
My attempt to add an edge includes the grey mask, which feels a bit dystopian to me, the studded leather bracelet, and the stark white bag, sunglasses and shoes
Overall I’m pretty happy with the look-
Especially since I feel like I’m re-learning how to dress after six months of quarantine. Your thoughts?
