I thought I'd share the other items that I ended up thrifting after returning the mushroom jacket. I'm surprised that I managed to find what I was looking for (and a couple things I wasn't looking for) so easily. Now that I've experienced the thrill of the find, I can see how thrifting can be addicting--and I can also see how easy it is to pick up things just because they are a great deal.

So what did I end up getting? I'm pleased as punch that I was able to pick up two skirts--one A line (Loft) and one drop waist pleated skirt (Mossimo) for summer. My summer skirt capsule was lacking and these two give me some more warm weather options. I also bought two unlined cotton jackets--one white (Gap) and one tan (JCrew.)

A couple of things were not on my list but I ended up getting them anyway--a Target vest from the Missoni collection, a white silk floral scarf (Timothy Fowler,) a black silk INC tuxedo blouse and a Marks & Spenser pinstripe tunic top. I'm not sure I needed any of these but I couldn't resist. I'll post these as WIW's at some point : )

I had a lot of fun sifting through the racks. It truly is like a treasure hunt. I can definitely see myself checking out the local thrift store on occasion and highly recommend non thrifters to give it a go.
