Three more keep or returns. (And also a peek at my elf scarf from BJ!)

I've got 3 more keep or returns for your feedback:

#1-3: Esprit black 3/4 ruched sleeve jumper (sweater for the NH!) I love that this is 100% cotton which makes it very comfy to wear. I think the 3/4 sleeves works ok for layering?

#4-6: Ezibuy black and grey stripe tunic. I've been on the look out for a tunic to wear with skinnies. Do the narrower stripes at the top emphasis my narrower shoulders?

#7-11: Esprit grey cardi. (opps I put the belt on without the mirror, it's not sitting right!)
If this isn't a keeper I will try the Halogen BF cardi in the bluey/purple color. Do you think that would work any better for me? (Although I can't seem to see it on their site anymore).

Also, take note of my lovely scarf in #7-11, thanks to my Elf BJ. I'm looking forward to getting lots of wear out of it now that the weather is starting to cool down.

So, as usual I only want to keep 10's. I've set myself a winter budget and therefore every piece needs to be spot on!

I like the sweater and the tunic, but I"m not crazy about the grey cardigan. I like it best in pic 11, but even at that I think you can do better. It just looks really thin and doesn't seem to want to lay nicely.

Wow, what a stash! OK, here is my personal take on your items.

Esprit black jumper. I like it and I can see what you mean about it looking comfy! I do think to my eye the longer sleeves look a little funny with the black though (like the jumper may have shrunk in the wash, which of course it hasn't!) so I'd like to see them rolled up, so that it touches the hem of the jumper. Or maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy. Who knows?!

4-6 Ezibuy. Oh, I really like this! And I love how you've styled it with the scarf. No, I don't see any shoulder issues. Keep, keep keep and wear, wear, wear!

7-11 Grey cardi. Being honest here, but it just isn't really grabbing me. I do like the sillhouette of 8, but then I don't like the way it is shortened so in 10 it is quite high up. I would be interested to see it with the cardigan unbottoned (as in 11) and unbelted with how high it is at the back in that instance. Maybe try the Halogen? In terms of colour, you are a brunette, aren't you? I think that would look quite nice. It would go with your Esprit top as well and your jeans, so you could work it into your wardrobe immediately. Hope that this helps just a little!

Thanks Kim. And yes you are right, the grey cardi is finicky in the way it sits.

And thanks Kirstie. Ahh, so with the black jumper you mean roll the shirt sleeves up? Makes sense. I'll give it a try. I'll also check the back view of the cardi open but I think you have both really hit on the issues with that one - thin, doesn't lay well and not flattering from the back.

I should trust my hubby more, he gets it right every time!!

Black jumper is fine to my eye, seems a nice basic.
I don't like the tunic from the front as it tapers too much over your hips. I personally don't like this look on me and also worry that when the knit is stretched that tight over my bottom it will loose its shape with all the sitting I need to do. However if you don;t mind that it highlights your hips and it is not tight across the hips then go for it.
I am not a fan of the cardigan. I like when this style is longer on the back and does not have too much of a difference in length between the front and the back.

The black jumper is great! And the scarf is fabulous.

I vote return the grey cardigan though - a little fussy with the tie.

I vote yay for the black jumper, and I love the skirt you have it with, and I vote wow for BJs scarf - lovely.

I think the Halogen cardi might be worth a try...but I've just ordered from Nordstrom and their international shipping seems to have gone up in price....last time I bought cami's the postage came to 20% of the order price, this time (cami's and cardi's) postage doubled the price - weird...

i'm sooo glad you liked the scarf. i'm digging the bit of blue right next to your face.

my fave of the sweater lot is the striped sweater dress/tunic (#4-6).

I think the black sweater / jumper is a 10. That outfit is really flattering on you. I agree with Katiepea that the sleeves need a little rolling up.

The striped tunic isn't wowing me because it's really more of a sweater dress which I find notoriously challenging. If it were a shorter like a true tunic and had a lower neckline (v or scoop) I would say keep. Hope that doesn't disappoint you too much, but I recall you wanted to keep 10s.

I think you will find that perfect tunic!
