Thred Up Experience?

Has anyone tried Thred up? I'm not able to get to my consignment store during their collection hours (while I work) and I do not have the time or energy for ebay. I do have a large amount of good condition items from good brands (mostly Nordies brands, J Crew, Banana) and shoes. I'd be interested if someone has had a successful payout and how the experience was.

I actually got a bag mailed to me a few weeks ago. Haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet, though, because I'm lazy.

I bought a few pairs of pants from them and they looked almost new. I haven't sold anything to them, but I know when you look at clothes on the site, you can see what all the was sent to them from that family and who much they were paid for each item. I'm wondering how this compares price-wise to Tradesy and Liketwice

It's been hard for me to judge the price range because Liketwice is much more picky about brands than Thred-up. And with Tradesy, they tack on shipping with every item, but there's no minimum unlike Thredup and Likelwice. But, I've feel like Liketwice has raised their prices in the last couple of months. Have you noticed that as well Rabbit?

Is it obvious I shop these place a lot?

K I've only dipped my toe in, so it's good to hear from someone who has more experience I think Liketwice is expanding or something? I can't find the article I read...

I used thread up for my boys several times. The clothes and snow boots I bought were okay. Selling clothes was much less satisfactory: you're only going to get paid for brand name items even if the clothes are very good condition.

I'd never heard of ThredUp until this post; looks interesting. They might be a good bet for selling shoes - I know that Twice doesn't take shoes although they recently started buying and selling handbags. I've had good luck with Twice - I usually get about 30% of the ultimate selling price of the item on their site as a payout, which I think is pretty decent.

@Rabbit - I'm not sure. I wonder if they were having a harder time breaking even (or making a profit) because they only sell women's clothes, and thred-up sells both women's and children's.
