I just found this used wool skirt on Ebay, it's from a German eco brand. Once again plaid, I know... The measurements given seem to fit, do you think this could be a good everyday style for fall/winter/spring? Or should I keep looking for something that's a solid color and translates better into spring? Then again, most of my pullovers are solid and I could still get at least two or three months of wear out of it.

I like it, but I'm a sucker for glen plaid. I would totally wear that skirt to work, and, like you say, it would look nice with your new pullovers.

Thanks Jessica. Fitwise the skirt would probably be a tad shorter than knee length on me. So definitely a bit of a different look compared to my other two plaid skirts. And of course this one is more neutral.

Thanks Kiki! Yes, I can also imagine this well with my new pullovers if the fit works out. I think I'm going to try it. There's a no return policy, that's why I was hesitating.

I would wear that in a heartbeat! I like it a lot. It's nice to have a little pattern when pullovers are often plain and it's a style that won't date quickly so you'd be able to keep it for a long time. It will look nice with black, white, grey or colour too.

I like that classic plaid and soft shades. Just make sure that it fits or can be altered to fit you. You might ask if there is any hem that could be let down or seams that could be let out if it runs a bit small...just in case.

Astrid, I can see you wearing it. It looks like it could work almost like a neutral because of the size and color of the plaid. I think it would be versatile, if it fits properly, it could be a good addition to your closet.

The skirt looks like a great classic. No-returns scare me but some deals may be worth it. I like to know the material is in good shape, too and not washed if it should have been dry-cleaned, that sort of thing.

I would want to know if the plaid is matched on ALL the seams.

I can totally see you in that, and it's a classic style. Others make a good point about length, but you are young & could carry off a shorter length with tights. Personally a no return policy makes me dubious, but if it's not a lot of money, I'd go for it! If it's in good shape and doesn't work for you, you could always resell it.

Thanks Aliona. The length doesn't worry me (with tights), more that it could be too tight in the hips. And yes, reselling would be an option. No returns isn't unusual at all, most private sellers on Ebay don't take things back.

The seller hasn't answered yet and it ends tomorrow morning... I don't think I'm going to place a bit as it is, even though it looks tempting. I'll have a look tomorrow morning, but I will probably pass.

I have another six days to think about it. The answer came after the end of the first period, unfortunately. They said the fabric is properly aligned. You could probably let out the hem a bit, but not the sides. But the fabric seems to have a slight stretch. They say it runs a tad big, two darts in the back and side zipper. It has been washed on wool cycle in the washing machine...

I like this skirt Astrid. The vertical lines of the pattern dominate the horizontal lines which will give a nice elongating effect. Also the attractive colour should mix with quite a few pieces already in your wardrobe.
