Thoughts on this black purse

I've been searching for black, preferably leather, purse for about 6 months now. I've seen a lot that I like, but they have been out of my budget - why do I have to be responsible like that? After some searching, I found this one for sale on a second-hand store online.

The site does do refunds. What do you think? My concern is does this purse look classic enough that I can carry it for several years and it won't look dated. Is there any other concern I should have about this purse?

I don't think you would have any problem carrying this bag a year or 2 from now. Since the site does refunds, I would order it, make sure it holds all your everyday things and is comfortable enough, then post a picture of it with you.

Oooh, I like it's slouchy slouchy - is this something you're okay with? If it does refunds, I'd go for it! It looks quite lovely!

Good call kkards! From the measurements given, it looks like it should hold everything.

@lyn* - I think the souchyness will work. I've tried on a few purses that are similar in style and they've felt great.

YAY! I love buying formerly-loved things - great price point and a lot of the times, the people who buy these high end brands have WAY too much of the same thing and have only used it once or twice My budget is happy too!

@lyn*- I love 2nd hand as well! I'm always more than happy to take a purse like this off someone's hands. It helps that I've sold several things on the site and had almost half of the purse paid for.

Glad you found a great bag! Leather has really risen in price in the last few years, and it takes a lot more hunting and ingenuity when you look below $100. Brava!

Well, I have some bad news. I got an e-mail last night from the seller that said she had already sold the bag, but forgot to take it off the site.
