Thoughts on these COS dresses for me?

Ha! Since you all remember my life so well I will update. Constant HEWI search for a multi-use dress that can go solemn occasion or be dressed up for something more normal/fun. I don't wear dresses very often so I don't keep a specific use selection...I'm always hoping for a blank slate kind of dress.

Challenges: I can't stand anything that makes my shoulders look any broader than they already are, and I have a bit of an apple belly I'm always trying not to highlight.

Any thoughts on any of these?

Ohhhh pretty! My thought is #1. The neckline is not as wide so might be less broadening of the shoulders, and the draping seems forgiving of the tummy area. The placement of the draping and asymmetry also seems to draw the eye away from both shoulders and tummy. It somehow seems like it might be very balancing. They are all super pretty though!

I think any of them could work, but coming from an opposite body type perspective, I think 1 would be the most IT friendly, since it adds visual interest and balance to the hip area. Be glad and celebrate those shoulders, I wish I could wear this but I can't!

Definitely give #1 a try! I also really like #2 but it is less apple concealing.

#1 seems like it would be most flattering the neckline on 2 and 3 seem to be neckline that would accentuate a broader shoulder.

I almost ordered 1 myself but reminded myself that I'm not looking for more black! There was another similar dress with a shorter length and 3/4 sleeves but I can't seem to find it now.

I just went ahead and ordered all three. I have such a difficult time with dresses I decided I had to try them on to know and would wonder until I did. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
