For anyone that has considered purchasing the Ferragamo "vara" bow pump, I ordered a pair on major sale from Bloomingdales a few weeks ago and LOVE them. They are perfect for work and very comfortable.

Funny, I was just thinking about adding Ferragamo pumps to my shoe collection. I've never purchased, but I think the contrast between my casual style and fancy shoes might be interesting. I'm still researching.

I used to wear those, as did my grandmother. They are true classics. That's a 50 year history of Ferragamo bow pump wearing in my family.

I stopped wearing them because my feet are all messed up and not as narrow as they used to be across the bridge... do feet have bridges?

Christina, I totally recommend investing in a pair. If you can find a material and color you love they are absolutely worth the investment.
