Those who ordered the Express Pleated Turtleneck..

Please help me with sizing!! They have a big 40 % sale there and I want to pick up a few sweaters (hole in my closet, yet another one!). I'm about 117 lb and 5'6'', should I stick with S or M (I remember Angie advised sizing up slightly?), I don't think I'll manage to run out and try them on is store today :(. Please advise! TIA!

I am always between S and M and I liked the M on me. That was my way of sizing up. . .

I also found that the red ran just a bit smaller than the plum (and no two Mediums were really created equal. But I get really picky sometimes!).

I tend to need to size up in Express (as in, I usually wear S or M and in Express I always need the M)
Are you small up top? At 117 I wouldn't think you'd need a medium.

I'm 34C/32D (my sizing is completely off since the baby LOL). I guess I'll stick with S... I don't need a baggy sweater.. I stocked up on Gap tops a while ago and 3 out of 4 size S was a little big though (do their sizes run similar?).

I'd say that Express runs a tad smaller than Gap. Can you order both sizes and take back the one that you don't want? Or are you not near an Express?

I took the medium for Express and wear a small in Gap. I liked the longer length of the M and the material is a little clingy so it was not baggy in the larger size for me.

I haven't shopped at Express in ages, but with your measurements/numbers I'd think a small because I'd take a medium in comparison.

Definitely size up to a M, Isabella. I wear a 00 or 0 regular and like the fit of the S better than the XS. I gain length that way too at 5ft 6. I like the way it bloussons in the larger size while the shoulders and band stay snug.

Sarah, humbly suggets sizing up if you're intersred in this style.

Thanks everyone! Ordered a couple turtlenecks and a woven shirt (working on making my casual wardrobe slightly more dressy :). They have the $30 off $75 order, came to a great deal altogether!

I have to say I am not impressed by the Express website. I have been trying to order the turtleneck, but it keeps giving me a different price! 39.90, 24.93, 27.93. Plus the $30 off $75 is not working right either (seems to revert to original price). I give up! :/

Oh that sucks! Maybe some sort of a glitch :(. I had no issues and the price it showed (before the 30 off) was 24 I think, then with the discount applied, it dropped down to 14 or something... I hope it starts working for you too!!
