I bought this off-white blazer a few years ago with the idea of wearing it over a black jumpsuit to a summer wedding. I ended up not wearing it that day....or any other day. I have NEVER worn it! It should an easy item to dress up or down, but every time I put it on, I think “yuck.”
What is the problem with this item? Some possibilities: The color washes me out—the lack of lapels would work better on someone with long romantic hair— but I think the most important issue is that the cut seems loose and low around the bust darts. By contrast, my Pilcro jean jacket looks sharp and perky, don’t you think?
Should I donate the blazer, and should I replace it with a white jean jacket? Or should I give up on white jackets entirely?
