I think it depends on what you plan to wear it with. I am not sure I am 100% sold on the proportions with the BFs but think it could be great with a slim black skirt.

It looks cool and I can definitely see it working in your wardrobe. Do you need/want another sweater? If so, then I vote yay. It's like UWP Preppy with the crazy argyle pattern.

I'm not sure about this one Una , I think it is big in pattern and proportions so everything else needs to be minimal. Different styling might make a big difference.

I really want to like it but I think it overwhelms you. It probably could work with black skinnies and your quilted booties though. Just my 2cents.

Are you thinking statement or essential? Or both? If statement, do you need another statement sweater? If essential, what outfits will it be used to create? Do those outfits need another essential to make them work?

Bear with me, Una, while I practice this new way of thinking. And I do rather like that sweater; I can actually visualize it with a skirt, a pair of skinny pants, leggings-- and not all black ones at that. How's that for progress...

Feels like a lot going on to me - does it feel like "you" and the style direction you want to go? It could work if the rest of the outfit is really simple/basic.

I like the idea, but think the print is a bit overwhelming, maybe. Can't really decide yes or no. I think leather pants + boots would be great though

I think it's uber-punk. Looks good with your physical style, I think, but also suggests very young and hipster. This is not a criticism.

I would not hesitate one nanosecond to snap up this AMAZING sweater! ( Um, actually, it would have to have a slightly different colour scheme and cut to suit me - but you get my drift there is more than one diamond-pattern item in my wardrobe!) I think you own this top AG; no way do I see you being overwhelmed by the pattern. The top looks totally you, and, (if a single photo can be believed), also appears really figure-flattering. But the question is, do you LOVE this sweater? My rule for bold non-essential statement pieces is that I have to be totally smitten. This piece would slot easily into your wardrobe -- but as it may not get worn frequently (unlike your essentials), hopefully your liking for this top would endure for a good while. Why not go away and forget it for a few days? if you can't get it out of your head, then you'll know that it's THE one...

I really like the twisted argyle pattern for your style! Very edgy and cool. And I seem to remember that a lot of your sweaters are solids, am I right? I vote yay.

I loved this sweater from NAS but we didn't have it in store at the time, and I forgot about it till I saw it on the sale rack here. I do love it, and I have been looking for more patterned items on top. Plus, I live in an all-year sweater climate. But I will post K/R pix styled because I want to make sure the fit is right!

I am so glad you got this Una. I actually like it with the the bf's but I think it would be more polished with skinnies. There is something rule-breaking and outlaw about wearing this with bf's that I like.
