Sveta this dress looks fantastic! And it's orange, right on trend, an orange that make your skin sing. And there are so many exciting accessorizing possibilities too! What a great way to end the blues.

I understand your woe and I must say right now is about the worst time of year to be shopping for pants. One main reason is the weather we confront outside. Everything melting then freezing, make for slippery, sloshy, wet and dirty roads. Our outer footwear is so limited, it has been for most winter, and now we are itching to slip back into lighter boots, but just can't yet (as March is the dirtiest month, and they might be simply destroyed). My idea is that when we shop for pants, footwear is important but if we are stuck in small changing rooms with bad lighting, encumbered by our big coat and with no other footwear than our huge heavy-duty boots, it takes a lot of good will to end up finding an appealing pair of pants. As soon as the weather will turn, the mere extra little steps we take in walking more will tone us up just enough. Not mentioning the freedom from the heavy boots (into lighter ones). It does a lot to the morale, and therefore to our own perceptions. For the moment, I find dresses much easier to wear. I'm not sure I'm making sense. Do you see what I mean?

I love the "still image" of it, very editorial. I wonder, how does it behave as you move? Does it drape or fall nicely? Does it "puff out" when you walk or sit? I will consider that before you keep the item.

I know I'm in the super minority, given the rave reviews, but we don't get to see items in movement and that is something I consider.

Just had to say how much I love this and how you added the white shirt underneath. Fantastic. I would have just put a tee or cami underneath and not look so great.

Absolutely a gorgeous color on you! The white shirt underneath is genius!

Ha-ha, all credits for "brilliant" layering of a white shirt under this dress should go to Angie: I would have never thought about this if not for her smashing outfit from NYFW!
Zap, this is a very good point, I will not keep anything if it is not comfortable or looks weird while moving.
Krish, you may be right that winter dressing gets in the way of shopping for pants: I will wait until it warms up
Scarlet, this is not an animal print on the belt but some abstract floral embroidery.
As for the length it is not indecently short but somehow I think it would look better a bit longer - just covering the knee. Well, I cannot change it, anyway this length is better with leggings and leans.
I was attracted to this dress because of a combination of unusual style and vibrant color. However what attracted me in the first place is exactly what makes it difficult to wear in my mind: it stands out too much! I guess I need to mull it over and play with it to try and tone it down a bit for everyday life: unfortunately I almost don't have any dressy go out occasions in my life!:-)
Thank you all again for taking part in my wild adventure!
