So I'm in love with my table cloth dress. Has anyone seen anything like it that is made by someone who sews (aka: not held together by hot glue gun, duct tape, and safety pins)?

I want one.

I love your tablecloth dress too! I bet it would be a cinch to sew, and once you got it down you could use anything cheap and cute (sheets from IKEA, thifted fabric, etc.).

I don't think that is crazy at all - I think it is cute! I bet if you sent the picture to an Etsy dressmaker, they could do it. Or take it into a local dressmaker. As with most things, finding the fabric is the hardest part.

Not crazy! I second the idea of a local dressmaker - it doesn't seem like a complicated design at all, so it shouldn't be that much.

LOL; I picked up this table cloth at a Dollar Store ... so it's a very pretty cloth, but not really what I'd want an article of clothing to be made of, unfortunately, I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for something like this.

The closest I can find is this piece; but I still like mine more :p

I love your creativity too! I think you should learn how to sew, you'd come up with some amazing things! In the meantime, how about something like iron-on hem tape? You could use it for all of your seams.
