The Chicago Tribune style section had a story today on a pre-party for Confessions of a Shopoholic held at a local hotel. Cocktails, designers selling their wares, then off in a trolley to the theater to watch the movie.
That wasn't shocking.
What WAS shocking was the revelation from a department store clerk attending the party who said she has a client who buys department store gift cards at Dominick's (that's our local Safeway grocery chain) to use for her own personal shopping. In others words ... hiding her shopping from her husband by making it look like grocery expenses.
There are no words!
