I have to ask though: how would one go about getting a blood stain out of a shoe?

What's the material inside the shoe? Suede, nylon, etc?

Hydrogen Peroxide will get out blood stains. But I'd be very careful. If the shoe has been dyed, the HP will probably remove the dye. Then again, if the shoes are ruined anyway, you could try it, and even try to redye the shoe. Worse scenario is you're out .99 cents for HP and $5 for dye.

That's the tricky part--it's manmade materials. I don't really care much for what the inside of the shoe looks like so long as the outside is in tact, so I guess it's worth a try. There's just something unsettling about having blood in one's shoe.

Yeah, I would follow Nicole's advice, should do the trick. It will probably bleach whatever fabric it touches, but if its on the inside it might not matter that much.
