Happy Birthday! This is a great milestone, speaking from the vantage point of an 82 year old. My best advice to you: take care of your body and your mind. My late 40s and 50s were the funnest fashion era in my life. I had a little money to spend on clothes and lots of interesting activities and places to wear them.

I remember my 50th well. My second parent had died the year before so I had a women’s afternoon tea to thank all the supportive women in my life (but husband and son came too! Son mostly for the food, ha ha!)
Happy birthday and a wonderful way to celebrate this birthday. Personally, I am not a fan of milestone birthdays...celebrating with a holiday is my favourite way of making sure I enjoy the day and don't dwell on the getting older part!
